The genesis for this piece is my most recent mantra to support my life: Expect the Best. I realized I had started to worry and even expect the worst in situations.expect the best hanging at gold bar Worry is only negative imagination. I believe the energy you put into life will attract like energy and you will manifest your beliefs and thoughts into your life. When I realized I was succumbing to worry and negativity, I adopted the mantra to “Expect the Best” and I said it and truly believed it throughout the day, every day. I attract only the best.

I enjoyed memorializing my mantra on a canvas board using acrylics, gel mediums, ink printing alphabets, pages from very old books, my favorite tissue paper and musical notes. On the original I’ve hung a string of fun jewels. I learned how to create different techniques by taking an online art class from my favorite, inspiring artist, Kellie Rae Roberts. Secret insights – the round, pale yellow circles were created with bubble wrap!

If you are a worryer or if you simply haven’t given attention to how you believe, try choosing to believe the best, believe it in all circumstances, remind yourself throughout the day, and see what shows up in your life.

Each of my original pieces of art had a personal message from me on the back of the canvas.

expect the best and faces at Gold BarI’m excited to announce that through June 30, 2014, my art is offered for sale at Gold Bar Espresso located at 3141 S. McClintock Drive, Tempe, AZ.  Gold Bar Espresso offers one-of-a-kind customer service.  It’s a family owned business who has perfected the art of creating amazing espresso while offering a community to welcome you.  Their baked goods are decadent and are a delightful way to start the day or enjoy a treat in the afternoon.  I’m a huge fan of their evenings of jazz.  You can see this piece on display and enjoy it in person.  In addition to displaying at Gold Bar, I am also offering my art online at Etsy.   You can see this piece and check out my other art pieces at Etsy.

Carpe Diem!
